Each year, communities across Australia unite in red for Day for Daniel, the national child-safety day established by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation (DMF). It’s a day to raise awareness, educate children and families, and support the vital work of keeping kids safe. As a local Queensland-based building design and interior design firm, BRD Group has woven itself into this mission – both through ongoing support, fundraising involvement, and by contributing design expertise to the Foundation’s physical infrastructure. 

This year marks a major milestone for BRD Group – 25 years of delivering innovative, people-focused design across the country. To celebrate, we gathered with our valued clients, colleagues, friends and family for an unforgettable evening at the stunning Altitude Nine rooftop venue in Maroochydore.

For over a decade now, BRD Group have been supporting and sponsoring the Coolum Beach SLSC Charity Golf Day which raises money for the Coolum Beach Surf Lifesaving services. As avid community supporters, BRD Group pride themselves on collaborating with the event team to ensure that it is an ongoing success.

As each year draws to a close it is difficult not to take time and reflect on what we have accomplished, the challenges we overcame and the relationships we developed throughout the year. For the entire team at BRD Group it was a big year and a successful year. We have so many things to be grateful for and to be proud of ourselves about.  

BRD Group is pleased to announce that our Director, Brenden Creed, has been appointed to the QBCC Industry Advisory Committee (IAC), where he will represent the Building Design profession. In this role, Brenden will offer guidance and insights on matters affecting both Building Designers and the broader building and construction industry.

Last month BRD Group team came together for a day filled with learning, networking, and celebrations. The event was a multi-faceted experience that included a series of workshops, a tour of a landmark building, and the recognition of outstanding achievements at the BDAA Chapter Awards.

Jamin Samios and Andrew Mullamphy celebrate their recent progression to Associate roles within BRD Group, joining Directors, Brad Read, Brenden Creed and Cameron Lincoln in driving stronger outcomes and pushing the business forward. The Associate roles include shareholder status and expand the existing leadership team to provide an even stronger foundation for the organisation.
