Parkhurst Town Centre

Location: Parkhurst, Central QLD
Year: 2016

Parkhurst Town Centre is located in the growing suburb of Parkhurst, just 8km from the metropolitan centre of Rockhampton.

This exciting retail development reflects the growing needs for new retail services in this burgeoning suburb.

Located just 1km from Central Queensland University Campus, and with new residential estates developed in the area, Parkhurst provides long-term benefits for retailers choosing to be part of this exciting centre.

Parklands Shopping Centre

Location: Meridan Plains, Sunshine Coast, QLD
Year: 2016

Parklands Shopping Centre is positioned within a well-established and growing catchment, servicing the daily needs of the surrounding community.

This convenient retail destination responds to increasing demand for accessible, local shopping, offering a curated mix of essential services and specialty retailers.

Drayton Shopping Centre

Location: Drayton, Toowoomba, QLD
Year: 2014

This project was proudly delivered in 2014. Since then, the Drayton Shopping Centre has proven to be a successful commercial and retail hub for the growing regional community.

The site for the centre had an existing tavern, which was required to be retained and considered into the site planning.

The client brief was to develop a shopping centre with a supermarket and subsidiary retail/ hospitality tenancies, with future potential for further development.

North Buderim Marketplace

Location: Buderim, Sunshine Coast, QLD
Year: 2014

The completed renovations and additions to the North Buderim Marketplace have provided a much needed lift to an old and tired neighbourhood shopping destination.

The new centre incorporates a large scale neighbourhood supermarket, revised speciality shops and improved car parking.

A significant increase in leasable floor area, revised site entry, and a major increase in car parking was achieved. Service vehicle movements were improved and a dedicated loading zone was incorporated at the supermarket.

The centre has become a high-use, popular neighbourhood destination, allowing for a
quicker shopping option than the larger CBD
centres.

Coles Liquor

Location: Australia Wide

We’re proud to be a preferred external design consultant for Coles Liquor nationally for the transformation of “First Choice” to First Choice Liquor Market, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars projects.

FIRST CHOICE LIQUOR MARKET
Working closely with the Coles Liquor Planning Team, BRD Group have worked on more than 80 stores Australia Wide, developing full existing conditions documentation, followed by town planning documentation, illustrating the branding change.

This change has consisted of extensive work within the research and development stages, through to the overall building branding and signage elements, to ensure these are in line with the corporate identity.

LIQUORLAND & VINTAGE CELLARS
The team have been working hand in hand with the Coles Liquor Planning Team on over 160 stores across Australia, ranging from store alterations and refreshes, to brand new stores.

Ormeau Commercial

Location: Ormeau, Gold Coast, QLD
Year: 2015

The brief for this mixed use site was to include a 7 Eleven service station, KFC fast food outlet, Zarraffa’s drive-through, and two medical tenancies.

A comprehensive design process was required to incorporate all of the various tenant structures and guidelines into the development.

The completed project efficiently utilises the site that initially had some challenging topography, overall creating a mixed use development that flows extremely well and has tenancies that feed off one another.
