Tamzen joined BRD Group in early 2022 and has quickly established herself as a valued member of the design team. Holding a dual Diploma in Building Design and Interior Design, she brings a strong technical foundation and a well-rounded skill set to the diverse and challenging projects she contributes to each day.

She enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where knowledge is openly shared and professional development is actively supported. Through exposure to different stages of the design process, Tamzen continues to build her expertise, applying new skills in a hands-on way as she gains practical industry experience. The supportive team culture at BRD Group has played a significant role in her continued growth and confidence as a designer.

Tamzen is particularly passionate about guiding projects from early concept planning through to detailed drafting and watching designs evolve into completed spaces. She values the opportunity to see firsthand how many people contribute to each project and has developed a strong appreciation for the teamwork behind every successful outcome.

With a background in a family that built each of their homes, Tamzen has always been closely connected to the building industry, an influence that led her to pursue her studies straight after high school. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, coastal getaways and a relaxed lifestyle with her mum, sister and their cavoodle, Archie. While she prefers quiet downtime spent reading or walking Archie, she does have a sense of adventure and hopes to one day tick bungee jumping in New Zealand off her bucket list.
