Coby is a draftsperson at BRD Group’s Sunshine Coast office and holds a Diploma of Building Design and a Diploma of Interior Design and is excited to apply his academic knowledge to real-world projects. Before joining BRD Group, Coby gained a variety of experiences working on a mango farm and in hospitality, but his passion for building design ultimately guided him to pursue his dream career.

Primarily focused on computer-based design tasks, Coby values being part of a team that fosters collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Surrounded by experienced colleagues, he enjoys the opportunity to learn, take on challenges, and expand his skill set. Working on NDIS projects has given him the chance to see designs progress from initial concepts to tangible outcomes, which he finds particularly rewarding.

Looking ahead, Coby is committed to further developing his skills and becoming a key contributor to BRD Group projects. He thrives in the collaborative environment, where ideas are shared freely and solutions are created collectively.

Outside of work, Coby enjoys the outdoors, spending time camping, fishing, or gardening on his family farm near Kenilworth. Although he hasn’t yet traveled outside Queensland, he hopes to explore the world in the future. A long-term goal is to design and build his own custom home, tailored entirely to his tastes and preferences.
