Christie joined BRD Group in 2011 and has grown alongside the business, developing strong practical expertise across a diverse range of projects. Holding a Diploma of Building Design and a Diploma of Interior Design, she began her career with BRD Group and has since contributed to numerous large-scale and complex developments that have refined her skills and broadened her design perspective.

She is passionate about the hands-on nature of her role, guiding projects from initial concept through to completion and experiencing the tangible outcome of great design. Christie thrives on the variety BRD Group offers, with exposure to multiple sectors, from multi-residential developments to hospitality and commercial projects, ensuring no two days are ever the same. The collaborative team environment is a key highlight, allowing her to both learn from colleagues and contribute to collective, innovative solutions.

Committed to continuous growth, Christie is always researching, analysing design trends and seeking new perspectives to enhance her work. Outside the studio, she enjoys spending time at local beaches, playing tennis with her family and embracing the Sunshine Coast lifestyle she has always called home. Christie and her husband welcomed their first baby boy in 2021 and enjoy making the most of family life. A lover of Italian cuisine, she can often be found dining at her favourite restaurant, Amici in Caloundra. With fond memories of past travels to New Zealand, she hopes to one day return to Queenstown’s ski slopes with her family and also dreams of experiencing the sunsets and culture of Greece.
