Cameron is the Principal Building Designer at BRD Group and shares decades of hands-on industry experience and a passion for design that blends aesthetics, function and ingenuity. Beginning his career as a carpenter and later holding an Open Building Licence, he brings a rare depth of practical knowledge to the design space. Since the early 2000s, Cameron has focused his career on building design -launching his own residential design practice on the Sunshine Coast in 2008 and successfully leading it until merging with BRD Group in 2020.

As a QBCC-licensed Low-Rise Building Designer, Cameron is BRD Group’s residential specialist. His background as both a carpenter and registered builder gives him a distinctive advantage, enabling him to approach every project with equal consideration for design intent, structural integrity and real-world constructability. Cameron also contributes to the broader industry as the current Chairman and Delegate for the Sunshine Coast Chapter of the Building Designers Association of Australia, continuously advancing his skills and sharing his knowledge with the design community.
