After accumulating over 15 years of industry experience, Brad founded BRD Group in 2000 with a clear vision: to deliver exceptional design outcomes while cultivating a workplace where talented people can thrive. What began as a niche-focused practice has grown far beyond what he imagined into a market-leading firm recognised for innovation, creativity, and technical excellence.

Armed with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Built Environment, a Bachelor of Architecture, and an Open Class Building Design Licence (QBCC), Brad brings deep expertise across both building and interior design. His work is widely celebrated, earning numerous industry awards and establishing an extensive portfolio spanning more than two decades. Known for his ability to merge practicality with inspired design thinking, Brad is often the go-to problem-solver on complex projects.

Despite the pace and variety of his day-to-day role, Brad thrives in the dynamic environment surrounded with passionate, talented people. Mentoring emerging designers, driving project strategy, and uncovering fresh solutions are all key parts of what fuels his enthusiasm. While a perfect day off might involve camping and fishing on Fraser Island or savouring fresh Tasmanian seafood, he is genuinely fulfilled by leading a cohesive team all moving toward the same vision.

Brad also contributes extensively to the broader industry. He currently serves as a Director and the Vice President of the Building Designers Association of Australia and is an active member of the Sunshine Coast chapter committee. His past role as State President of the Building Designers Association of Queensland saw him oversee significant milestones, including establishing the Association’s first head office and hiring its inaugural employee. His commitment to advancing and shaping the profession remains one of the most meaningful aspects of his career.
