Dayne joined BRD Group in 2023 as a Designer, bringing a diverse and hands-on background to the Maroochydore office. He began his career in the building industry with a Certificate III in Carpentry, followed by a decade working as a carpenter and lead hand. He later expanded his expertise as a civil draftsperson and holds a Diploma in Building Design.

At BRD Group, Dayne’s work spans drafting, detailing, and project coordination. He collaborates closely with colleagues to manage priorities and timelines, liaises with consultants to integrate specialist knowledge, and participates in team meetings to track project progress. His multifaceted approach ensures projects run smoothly while contributing to the success of the broader team.

Dayne thrives in BRD Group’s supportive and collaborative environment, where the culture encourages both high-quality work and professional growth. He enjoys the variety of projects the company undertakes, appreciating the opportunities for creative problem-solving across unique and complex designs.

Outside the office, Dayne is passionate about water sports, including surfing, kite surfing, foiling, boating, and jet skiing. He enjoys spending time with his partner, family, and friends, whether relaxing or seeking adventure. Looking ahead, Dayne aims to continue developing as a draftsperson and building designer, with plans to revisit the Maldives for its world-class surf and to experience skiing in Japan.
