Probably not an obvious choice, but concrete can be a classy material selection in your kitchen. It's not only reliable, it also looks good and ages gracefully.
And because it can be moulded into almost any shape or design it's versatility is also appealing. You can literally create an entire kitchen of concrete, or use it as a striking framework around laminate or timber cabinetry.
With the advances of mixing and tinting you can create darker or lighter finishes to accommodate personal preference to the look you're after, and when married with timber a stunning aesthetic is created.
